C. Jeff Restivo, CPA
Jeff Restivo, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) brings a wealth of broad experience to his company, Santa Barbara Tax and Accounting Services.
As an entrepreneur, Jeff understands the struggles that small businesses face because he’s faced many of them too.
Before starting his private practice, he worked at two of Santa Barbara’s largest CPA firms. The services he offered his clients included tax preparation, tax planning, and audits to make sure that clients maintained correct financial records and everything was in good order for the IRS when tax time came around.
In addition, his business consulting helped his clients make smart financial decisions so their businesses could be more profitable and continue to grow.
His experience goes beyond what you normally expect from a CPA: he spent time as a financial analyst at a boutique investment company. Here he helped come up with valuations of private companies by preparing detailed financial models and forecasts.
Jeff is firmly rooted in Santa Barbara County. He grew up in Carpinteria where he still lives with his wife Michelle and 6yr old daughter Charlotte. He was educated at local schools, including Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Bishop Diego Garcia High School and UC Santa Barbara where he graduated with honors in Business Economics (with an emphasis in accounting).
Outside of his busy accounting and tax preparation practice, Jeff looks for ways to help create a better community. He has given back by volunteering with a number of non-profit organizations. He played a central role in United Way’s Annual Day of Caring where he was responsible for organizing and leading staff participation. He can also be found training jiu-jitsu at the local Paragon academy.
